Condition Requirements
Book to the Future reserves the right to determine item condition upon receipt and take price deductions or discard accordingly.
We accept the following condition levels for mass market paperbacks:
- New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unread copy in perfect condition.
- Like New: An apparently unread copy in perfect condition. Pages are clean with no markings of any kind. The spine remains undamaged.
- Very Good: A copy that has been read, but remains in excellent condition. Pages are intact and are not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine may have minor creases.
Types of books we will NOT accept and may discard:
- Books with a Copyright date earlier than 1990
- Children's, Teen, and Young Adult Books
- Ex-Library books
- Harlequin and Silhouette Romance Novels
Books will NOT be accepted with any of the following conditions:
- Creases on front or back cover
- Tears to the cover or pages
- Major wear to the binding
- Missing or loose pages
- Water, moisture damage, mold, or stains
- Fire or smoke damage
- Strong odor of any kind (including cigarette smoke)
*Items not accepted by Book to the Future will not be returned to the Seller. These books will be donated and/or recycled.
